I was born in 1993 in Klaipeda,Lithuania. After school and several years of architectural studies I started photographing professionally in 1981. As a matter of fact, I’m just a self-taught and well informed person, working since 1983 to 1996 in many Lithuanian magazines and newspapers, now a freelance photographer of architecture. At the very beginning of my career, though, I thought of becoming an artist. A number of my photos were published in “Frame”, “A 10” (Holland), “Best interiors”, “Salon” (Russia) as well as in various Lithuanian editions. I continuously cooperate with many Lithuanian architects. On my opinion, the standards of architectural photography should go hand in hand with creativity. |
